Last Monday the 26th of April was the last sitting of the County Registrar Deirdre O’ Mahony who retires as County Registrar after 35 years in the role.
The SLA were delighted to be afforded an opportunity by the Court Services to have a representative speak at an event on that day to mark the occasion. We are very grateful for that invitation, providing as it did a means by which we could publicly record our thanks to the outgoing County Registrar for her tremendous contribution to the provision of legal services in Cork throughout her time in office.
The County Registrar for her part acknowledged the great working relationship enjoyed by her office with the SLA and in particular the significant contribution which the SLA’s litigation committee make on an ongoing basis.
We all wish her all the very best for her next chapter and look forward to working with the new County Registrar when appointed.
