Dear Practitioners,
Please note that there will be no callover of possession cases.
All new possession cases (and some adjournments) will be listed before the County Registrar on the following dates:
- Tuesday, 13th July 2021 at 1:30pm
- Tuesday, 5th October 2021 at 1:30pm
- Tuesday, 9th November 2021 at 1:30pm
- Tuesday, 30th November 2021 at 1:30pm
All other possession cases before the County Registrar are currently adjourned generally to Hilary 2022. However, if the parties agree to strike out proceedings or where the parties agree to adjourn proceedings for a period greater than 6 months, then the plaintiff should e-mail corkwashingtonstreet@courts.ie with the details of the case and the agreed terms and the County Registrar will make the necessary order in the office without the need for the parties to attend in court.
Where the parties are consenting to an order for possession or where the matter requires direction from the County Registrar (for example where the subject property is abandoned, etc.), please notify the office by e-mail (for the attention of David Heath) and the matter will be listed for hearing before the County Registrar.
All Judges possession cases are adjourned generally to Hilary 2022. Please note that a limited number of possession cases will be listed before a Judge on the following date (this list will issue later in the year).
