2026 Annual Subscriptions

Dear Members,

The Southern Law Association Subscriptions are now due for 2026 as follows:

Please note the new fee structure below:

Category A:   €125 per solicitor (Cork City)

Category B:   €75 per solicitor (Cork County or In-House Solicitors)

Category C:   Newly Qualified Solicitors (qualified < 2 yrs) No Subscription required.

ONLINE PAYMENT

We have added an online payment facility for subscriptions to the Southern Law Association website https://sla.ie/membership-renewal.To access same go to the SLA website and in the members area click on the applicable membership renewal section and follow the prompts.

Please note: All online details to be completed when making payments. The information provided will be used to consolidate and update our members database with the most recent and accurate information pertaining to all SLA members.

When making online payments please do not forget to fill in the 2026 Practice information sheet and email to mail@sla.ie as the online details are not sufficient for our records.

PAYMENT BY CHEQUE

For those who still prefer manual payment, please click here 2026 Practice Information Sheet to be completed and complete and return the practice information sheet together with Cheque for your payment to the SLA Treasurer, Seán F. Durcan, Southern Law Association, Michael Powell & Co., Solicitors, 5 Lapps Quay, Cork, DX 2104 Cork or email the completed practice information sheet to mail@sla.ie, including your DX or EIR code, where possible.

Please arrange to send one cheque only in respect of each firm, together with the completed practice information sheet of all the individual member’s names including category – newly qualified Solicitors and names of any Solicitors who have left the Firm in 2025.

GENERAL

The preferred method of payment is via the webpage www.sla.ie 

Payment of Subscription Fees is due on or before Friday the 6th day of February 2026. We will send out a €20 SLA Seminar voucher, by way of thanks for your promptness, for all subscriptions that are paid by the deadline.

Please note that the information provided will be used as the basis for all communication in the future. Solicitors who wish to receive email correspondences should advise of the email address to which they want emails sent and note that only one email address should be provided for each Solicitor. 

Please note that ‘Only fully paid-up members of the Association are entitled to propose and second candidates or stand for election and attend Southern Law Association CPD Events or the Southern Law Association Dinner. Certificates of Attendance for Southern Law Association CPD Events will only be available to members who have paid their subscription fees.
