Dear Practitioners,
The next High Court on Circuit Court sessions are scheduled for Monday, 25th January in Cork.
Due to the current Covid-19 level 5 restrictions (and in line with the personal injuries list), routine appeal cases will not be heard. The appeals list will be called over by Judge Hanna to determine if any of the cases have settled. As a result, parties should continue to achieve a negotiated settlement.
A conference code will issue shortly to legal practitioners for the appeals callover.
Any appeals involving lay litigants will not proceed and the office will write to the litigants to inform them that their case has been put back to the next sessions in October (17th to 21st October).
