Biographies

Jeff Modisett is a Lawyer in California and Adjunct Professor at UCLA. His practice and research area lie in the criminal, civil and regulatory enforcement of state attorneys general. He advises clients on a number of AG-related issues including antitrust, consumer protection, privacy, and political relationships. Jeff is former Attorney General for Indiana where he was a key negotiator in settlements with Big Tabacco. Jeff is a former Prosecutor who led the prosecution of Mike Tyson in 1991.

Anna Conley is an Assistant Professor at the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana. Her areas of expertise include civil litigation, comparative law, international law, and human rights. In practice Anna worked as an Attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union in Montana, in private practice and as an Attorney for Missoula County. Anna has litigated many large-scale complex cases, participated in several rule of law initiatives, and published extensively in international and comparative law.
